By entering the cup I agree with the following
rules:>>
General Rules >>
Drinking
alcohol can cause accidents, so it is forbidden during the competition! Smoking
is allowed at the appointed places!
> >
If a
team recedes from the competition before the 4th March, their entry
fee will be refund. If they do this after the deadline, their entry fee will
not be payed back.
> >
If
any of the teams or the players cause damage please inform us immediately, so
we can do the necessary arrangements. In that case when the Insurance Company
does not refund our expenses then it is the charge of the person who caused it.
> >
If
the organisers find the behaviour of a player or a team inappropriate or even
dangerous (they don’t keep the rules, cause damage…etc.) in order to maintain
the security of the Cup the organisers are allowed to disqualify that player or
team on the spot.
> >
We
kindly ask all the participants, trainers, parents and spectators to behave
sportsmanlike and pay attention to the order and cleanness of the gymnasium!
> >
Rules of the Game >>
Middle-school,
university and other amatuer mix-teams can participate at the Cup, with an age
limit drawn at 25 years (people born at or after 1st January 1983).
> >
The
general rules of volleyball, approved by the FIVB for the 2005-2008 season will
be applied during the tournament. A team is composed of 6+2 players and there
must be minimum 3 female players on the field each time. We do not limit the
number of professional players in one team, but there can be maximum 2 on the
field in the same time.
We provide the possibility of asking for another player in case a team is
composed of less members than six, but definitely wants to participate in the
competition or when there is an injury and there is no substitution left. Our
only request is that minimum four players should be on the field from the
originally registered team.
> >
No
medical aptitude test is required, everybody participates at this Cup on
his/her responsibility.
> >
Because
the matches are played for time there is no possibility for asking for time,
but the number of asking for substitution is unlimited (just indicate it to the
umpire). There is no changing of the sides/fields either.
> >
As
for mixed-teams participate at the competition the height of the net is >243 cm>.
> >
Every
team that is not accompanied by a trainer or an adult and has a player under
the age of 18 must bring a written parental concent that the parents are aware
of where their child is gone and what does he/she participate in.
> >
According
to our traditions every team must have a member who conducts the matches (this
can be the trainer as well; because we do this ourselves) and another member
who writes the register. Certificates for this are not required.
> >
If
team is not present at the match in time, they lose that match for 25-0.
(Maximum waiting time is ONE minute!) If the umpire is not present at the match
in time, then his/her team will start there following match from -5 points.
> >
The
matches are over for music and till it lasts the following teams may do the
warming-up.
> >
If
the ball is in the air when the music starts that point MUST BE finished! If
the scores are equal when the match is over then the teams should play till the
next point! (So in contrary to the official rules here a team can win with only
one point, beacuse of the time limits.)
> >
Because
we have a strictly limited time there is no possibility for caveat.
From the year 2007 on the following rule is applied: as a symbol of their
support and for beginning a tradition the Government of Zalaegerszeg offered a Challange
Cup for the winner. The team which wins this Cup three times can keep it,
and a new one will be made the following year. That is why we would kindly ask
all teams not to change name in case of avoiding trouble!

Thank you!>>
